G4 Tech TV
People are always generalizing that TV is garbage and it’s a waste of time. It’s too bad that people choose to put television in with a schema that filters garbage out of their life and throw out a giant information system. TV is the one place where you can have ultimate choice in what you want to absorb. I love entertainment but TV is mainly a place for uptodate information. Technology, science, history, current events. The experts are out there and a lot of them are using TV to reach the masses. Some are pretty obscure but I assure you they have a small following of people that are being helped.
Yeah commercials suck but thank goodness we have techonology on our side! Nowadays you can sit down one day and pick all the shows you want to watch later at your convience. It’s that easy! Sit down with remote in hand and select the shows you already recorded, skip through commercials and boring parts with the fast forward button. Delete it when you are done or archive it for later retrieval. I am getting into a whole other topic right now but I promise to touch on PVR’s (personal video recorders), TIVO’s and home made PVRS (like my media center) at a later time.
Here are some gems that I have found on the G4 Tech Tv Network. The best way to be informed on technology, news and hype is through funny people. John Stewart has been doing on it on the Daily Show but it is mostly dedicated to politics. I am more into computers, movies, music, comics, new trends, new products, young professionals, cute girls and of course a little bit of politics never hurt anyone.
